Unibep secures a contract worth over PLN 114 million with PGNiG TERMIKA

Unibep has concluded an agreement for the turnkey implementation of the project called “Installation of a flue gas condensation system behind the K1 boiler at the Siekierki Heat and Power Plant in Warsaw”. The ordering party is PGNiG Termika SA, a leading producer of heat and electricity through cogeneration in Poland. The value of the agreement is approx. PLN 140.3 million gross, i.e., approx. PLN 114.1 net.

The ambitious plans of Unibep

“Money, money, money, and profitability – this is the slogan for the coming years,” emphasized Dariusz Blocher, president of Unibep SA during the conference summarising the results of Unibep Group in 2022, where the plans for the coming years were also discussed. “This year will be difficult for us, even more difficult than 2022. Then, there was a war, now — we will face its consequences. Probably, the coming years will bring more positive information,” he added.

We have signed the agreement for the extension and reconstruction of the Provincial Road No 677 on the Konarzyce – Śniadowo section

On 9 May 2023 in Śniadowo (Podlaskie voivodship), we signed the agreement for implementation of the task called “Extension and reconstruction of the Provincial Road No. 677 on the Konarzyce – Śniadowo section”. The 4.5 kilometres long section of the Provincial Road No. 677 will be implemented by the Consortium of Unibep (Consortium Leader) and Przedsiębiorstwo Budownictwa Komunikacyjnego Sp. z o.o. (briefly, Transportation Consortium Enterprise). The value of the agreement is approx. PLN 44.5 million net, with approx. PLN 22.2 million net being the remuneration of Unibep SA.

First shovels in the ground - the construction of Raginis Street begins in Białystok

On 8 May on Raginis Street in Białystok first shovels dug the ground. The works involve an over one-kilometre-long section of the Provincial Road No. 676 from the intersection with Baśniowa Street and Rycerska Street to the city border. As part of the reconstruction of Raginis Street, there will be built a two-lane road with a bicycle path, sidewalks for pedestrians, and reconstructed infrastructure. The value of the agreement is approx. PLN 37.7 million gross, i.e., approx. PLN 30.6 million net.

Dariusz Blocher appointed as the new president of the Management Board of Unibep

Dariusz Blocher has been appointed by the Supervisory Board of Unibep to the position of the President of the company. He will assume the position on 9 May 2023. The current president of Unibep, Leszek Gołąbiecki, will remain on the Board as the Vice President and company’s Executive Director. The current structure and composition of the enlarged Management Board, which consists of six members, will allow Unibep to work even more efficiently, creating space to fully take advantage of market opportunities and effectively cope with challenges.
