It was a remarkable week of activity for Unibep in many places in Poland. We took part in the Ukraine Reconstruction Congress and the Warmia and Mazury Road Forum. Furthermore, the Unitalent Foundation of the Unibep Group organised an inspiring meeting for youth and teachers of Businesses and Management in Białystok.
In the era of dynamic climate changes and growing ecological awareness, every company is searching for innovative solutions in the power industry to adapt to requirements of sustainable development. The Infrastructure Branch of Unibep has earned recognition in this field by introducing photovoltaic installations in its Asphalt Mixing Plants (Wytwórnia Mas Bitumicznych, WMB) at three locations: Lipowa Góra, Lewki, and Łomża. These actions align perfectly with the ESG strategy adopted by the Unibep Group.
The Copernican Revolution Lab, implemented by Unibep, received a second-degree award in the nationwide competition “Construction of the Year”. The appraisal included such aspects like the quality, technology, design, organisation of the construction process, and safety. “These awards are the Oscars of construction,” stated Prof. Maria Kaszyńska, the Chairperson of PZITB.
We are pleased to inform you that on 8 September 2023, we received a notification from the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways in Olsztyn confirming that our offer was chosen as the most favourable one in an open tender public procedure for the extension of the National road No. 63 on section Borki – Jeże. The value of the investment is over PLN 95 million.
On 7 September 2023, the company Unibep signed a Memorandum of Understanding with a leading South Korean general contractor, Hyundai Engineering & Construction. Both parties expressed their willingness to cooperate on investments related to nuclear energy and infrastructural projects carried out in Poland.
