Unibep Infrastructure Branch is constructing the southern part of the ring road of Bielsk Podlaski.

Construction works on the strategic investment carried out by Unibep Infrastructure Branch in Bielsk Podlaski have reached nearly 60% of completion. Road workers are eagerly awaiting the completion of the investment, which will significantly improve the transportation infrastructure in the region and enhance the comfort and safety of travellers.

Current status of work

The investment, worth nearly PLN 80 million gross, began in April 2022 and includes the construction of a road approx. 3.5 km long, classified as a class G (main) road. We entered the construction site in March this year. Currently, the bridge works are in the final stage of the main construction works. The Unibep team is working on completing the final elements, such as the bridge pavements and transition slabs. The installation of curbs and insulation has also begun, which precedes the laying of the asphalt surface and the installation of safety barriers. The finishing works on the bridge are already in progress.

Road works include activities related to pavement construction and subgrade stabilisation. For this investment, 11,000 tons of mineral-asphalt mixtures and 23,000 tons of aggregate will be used

The engagement and scale of the project

Approx. 150 people are involved in the implementation of the investment, which reflects its scale and significance. The most important moments of construction will attract an even greater number of specialists, including many subcontractors who support Unibep in delivering the highest quality solutions.

An impressive amount of materials.

In terms of materials, the project represents a significant undertaking. In terms of bridge construction, 330 tons of reinforcing steel and 2,200 m³ of concrete will be used. This is a substantial amount of materials that will ensure the durability and safety of the structure for many years to come.

The implementation of the investment is proceeding according to schedule, and Unibep is making every effort to complete the project on time, in line with the expectations of residents and technical standards. This investment, being a part of the key road infrastructure, will not only enhance the quality of life for residents of Bielsk Podlaski but also improve the capacity and safety on one of the region’s most important roads.
