There is a lot of work to be done, and unpleasant surprises, like hidden defects, keep emerging one after another. Time is of the essence, as the construction team at the Janusz Korczak Public Primary School in Nowe Świętów near Głuchołazy wants to make it possible for the children to return to school as soon as possible.

The professionals from Unibep are engaged in the renovation of two buildings that suffered the most damage from the flood. There is a lot of work on-site—from drying the walls and preparing the boiler room for the new boilers to be installed, to renovating the classrooms. The priority is to ensure the heat supply as quickly as possible, so that the children can learn in good conditions.
“There is good cooperation with the local authorities and the school administration, as we have a common goal: to carry out the renovation as quickly as possible at the highest quality. There is a lot of work, but on our side, there is a strong commitment,” said Wojciech Jarmołowicz, Spokesperson at Unibep.
This is just the beginning—there is a unique task ahead for the construction team, unknown surprises lurking within the walls of the buildings, and difficult decisions yet to come. And the work is cost-intensive. To meet these needs, donations for flood victims are needed. The organisers of the aid are asking for financial support.
We ask for donations to the account of the Unibep Group Foundation Unitalent: 55 1240 5253 1111 0011 2384 8991, with the note “pomagaMY powodzianom” (helping flood victims).
