Unibep will build the next section of the S19, spanning from Dobrzyniewo to the northern part of Białystok. The agreement signed on 14 May 2024, amounts to just over PLN 320 million gross.
It covers the “Design and construction of the S19 expressway on section: junction Białystok Północ (excluding the junction) – junction Dobrzyniewo (including the junction)”. The new section, approx. 9 km long, will run from the former Sochonie junction, past Burczak, Jurowce, Leńce, and Nowe Aleksandrowo, all the way to Dobrzyniewo. A dual carriageway is planned, with two lanes in each direction, and an emergency lane. The final choice of pavement, either asphalt or concrete, will be made after the project design is completed. The road’s construction will meet the requirements of KR6 traffic category and a surface load-bearing capacity of up to 11.5 tons per axle.
This investment will significantly ease local traffic and improve travel by creating a new route between the road DK8 and DK65. The project will include the construction of a new Dobrzyniewo junction and the reconstruction of the existing Białystok Północ junction, with the replacement of the wearing course.
The section will include 18 engineering structures, including 5 wildlife culverts and 13 overpasses.
The total value of the agreement is PLN 320,889,472.72 gross.
This is another significant agreement for the Infrastructure Branch of Unibep for construction of the S19 expressway. In February 2024, an agreement worth approx. PLN 347.8 million gross was signed for the construction of a 13-kilometre section from the Czarna Białostocka junction to the Białystok Północ junction. We are also constructing a 6-kilometre Ploski – Haćki section of the S19.
On behalf of Unibep, the agreement was signed by Paweł Duchnowski, Director of the Infrastructure Branch Offering Department, in the presence of Piotr Lipiński, Market Director of the Infrastructure Branch at Unibep SA.
