The Infrastructure Branch has signed an agreement for construction of the S19 Dobrzyniewo – Sokółka

The agreement worth approximately PLN 347.8 million gross was signed on Monday, 19 February 2024. We will design and build a 13-kilometre section of the S19 expressway for the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways in Białystok. On behalf of our company, the agreement was signed by Paweł Duchnowski, Director of the Infrastructure Branch Offering Department at Unibep SA.

The S19 section hat we will be constructing stretches from Czarna Białostocka junction to Białystok North junction. On this section, the S19 expressway will be constructed as a dual carriageway, with two lanes in each direction, and an emergency lane. It will follow approximately the route of the existing national road DK 19. The road construction will be carried out according to the requirements of KR6 traffic category and a surface load-bearing capacity of up to 11.5 tons per axle.

“We are a contractor from Podlasie region, and we have experience in implementing such significant investments. It is worth mentioning, for example, the construction of two other sections of the S19 for the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways. For the latest investment, our goal is to submit the ZRID documentation by the end of this year and start works next year to ensure timely project completion. Our priority is high quality and timely completion of this section of the S19” said Paweł Duchnowski, Director of the Infrastructure Branch Offering Department at Unibep SA.

It is also worth mentioning that this investment is not the only project we are undertaking on the S19 expressway, as we are designing and constructing a more than six-kilometre section of the S19 on section Ploski – Haćki. Additionally, the offer of the Infrastructure Branch (worth PLN 320.88 million gross) was also selected for the construction of a nine-kilometre section of the S19 between the Białystok North and Dobrzyniewo junctions.
