16 months of construction of Fama Jeżyce Stage 3 housing estate have passed. This is one the biggest investments being developed right at the heart of Jeżyce district in Poznań, in Jana Henryka Dąbrowskiego Street. Unibep completed the works related to the structure of the buildings. Moreover, in the E1 building, the wall works, window installation, and roof waterproofing have been completed. The progress of the investment stands at approximately 60%.
The third stage of the investment implementation involves the construction of two residential multi-family buildings, each 8 above-ground storeys high, comprising a total of 369 residential units, 12 commercial premises, and 374 parking spaces. The investment completion is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2023. The investor is Monday Development from the Unidevelopment Group.
“The work is going according to the construction schedule. Currently, the construction team is continuing the masonry and plastering works in buildings E2 and F. We have already started the installation of windows and sills there. Additionally, we are performing roof waterproofing and waterproofing of the garage ceiling in these buildings. In building E1, we are laying floors on the third floor. In the same building, we are also installing lifts and performing facade works from the southern and western sides,” said Łukasz Jaworski, Construction Manager at Unibep.
In the coming weeks, the General Contractor, the company Unibep is going to install balustrades, external doors, and internal steel stairs in building E1. Subsequent tasks include facade works from northern and eastern sides of building E1 and on the northern side of building E2, as well as the preparation of floors in buildings E2 and F.
The housing investment Fama Jeżyce is being developed on an almost 8-hectare plot of land of the former Wiepofama plant, which specialised in special machining tools. Besides the residential buildings, this area will feature new roads, garden courtyards, an attractive square, a playground, and a promenade with space for relaxation and recreation. On the investment site, there will also be many amenities, such as a spacious bicycle storage facility, a self-service bike repair facility, and a place for charging electric cars. A new city park will also be created nearby.
“Fama Jeżyce will be a well-thought-out block development in terms of urban planning, corresponding to the historical urban fabric of Jeżyce. The gently rounded corners of the buildings and balconies will be reminiscent of the interwar architecture in this district,” added Łukasz Jaworski, Construction Manager at Unibep.
Previous stages
In the first stage of the Fama Jeżyce investment implementation, Unibep constructed 2 multi-family residential buildings, each 8 storeys high, comprising a total of 251 residential units, 11 commercial premises, and 259 parking spaces. The investment was completed in December 2021. The construction took 18 months.
As part of the second stage, another two buildings, each 8 storeys high, were created, offering a total of 270 residential units, 5 commercial premises, and 279 parking spaces. Unibep completed the construction after 19 months since the commencement of works, in November 2022.
