Dariusz Blocher has been appointed by the Supervisory Board of Unibep to the position of the President of the company. He will assume the position on 9 May 2023. The current president of Unibep, Leszek Gołąbiecki, will remain on the Board as the Vice President and company’s Executive Director. The current structure and composition of the enlarged Management Board, which consists of six members, will allow Unibep to work even more efficiently, creating space to fully take advantage of market opportunities and effectively cope with challenges.
In the coming years, the Unibep Group sets ambitious goals for itself: preparing for changes in the construction industry, organising structures and individual businesses to participate in major construction projects, including the reconstruction of Ukraine, strengthening its position in all markets it operates in, and enhancing the company’s goodwill. To achieve these goals, the Supervisory Board decided to make changes to the company’s Management Board.

Dariusz Blocher is an esteemed manager in the industry with a considerable standing and reputation reaching far beyond the construction sector. I believe that he will bring additional momentum and energy to the Group. The current structure and composition of the Management Board will allow Unibep to work even more efficiently, creating space to fully take advantage of market opportunities and effectively cope with challenges. At the same time, I want to thank Leszek Gołąbiecki for nearly a decade of hard and effective work as the company president. During this time, he successfully led the company's activities, substantially contributing to its growth and strengthening its strong position on the construction market. Leszek remains in the company as the vice-president,” said Jan Mikołuszko, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Unibep.

While performing the function of vice president and executive director, I will mainly focus on improving efficiency in the Unibep Group, including the departments supporting all segments within the group. Additionally, I will work on preparing the company for active engagement in the reconstruction of Ukraine I will also support the Management Board of Unihouse, so that we can fully utilise the potential of the modular construction segment,” commented Leszek Gołąbiecki, Vice President of Unibep.
Dariusz Blocher is a graduate of the Faculty of Mechanics and Machinery Design at Częstochowa University of Technology and IESE Business School in Barcelona (Advance Management Program). He has been the board member and HR director in Budimex Since January 2002. He served as the president of the management board and chief executive officer of Budimex Dromex, and a board member of Budimex since November 2007. From September 2009 to April 2021, he was the president of the management board and general director of Budimex. From April 2019 to April 2021, he worked as the executive director for Europe of Ferrovial Construction. In April 2023, he resigned from the position of a member of the supervisory board of Budimex and a member of the management board of Ferrovial Construction International SE in Amsterdam, which he had held since May 2021.
Leszek Gołąbiecki had been the president of Unibep since June 2014. He remains a member of supervisory boards in Unidevelopment and Unihouse.
From 9 May 2023, the Management Board of Unibep SA will comprise President of the Management Board Dariusz Blocher and Vice Presidents of the Board: Executive Director Leszek Gołąbiecki, Financial Director Sławomir Kiszycki, Construction Director Krzysztof Mikołajczyk, along with Board Members: Infrastructure Director Adam Poliński, and Power and Industry Construction Director Przemysław Janiszewski.
