A topping-out wreath over Przystanek Targówek development investment
General contractor Unibep company raised a symbolic topping-out wreath on Przystanek Targówek investment at Kuflewska 6 Street. The residential building has been commissioned by PRAGA housing cooperative.
“This is our first cooperation with one of the largest housing cooperatives in Poland. We are glad about the timely progress of the construction and both parties have been satisfied with the results so far,” said President of the Management Board of Unibep SA Leszek Gołąbiecki during the topping out ceremony. “I hope that this investment will mark the beginning of to further cooperation with PRAGA housing cooperative,” he added.
Next, the floor was given to Andrzej Półrolniczak, president of the management board of PRAGA housing cooperative.
“This is yet subsequent investment of the housing cooperative. We care about the high standard of our investments. We selected Unibep SA from a wide choice of companies. The cooperation with the contractor is going very well. The quality of work receives our high appraisal, and the work schedule has been timely completed,” said Andrzej Półrolniczak, president of the management board of PRAGA housing cooperative.
The gathered guests repeatedly stressed the hard times the construction industry has had to cope for a long time already.
“Unprecedented increase in prices, growing prices of raw materials on world markets, and shortages of materials and manpower; These are the main issues we as a general contractor have to cope with every day,” said President Leszek Gołąbiecki.
It is worth noting that despite the unfavourable situation on the construction market, the construction staff even managed to speed up the implementation of Przystanek Targówek development investment. Undoubtedly, owing to the experience and commitment of all the investment stakeholders.
“So far, despite the difficulties resulting from to the ongoing war in Ukraine and the COVID-19 pandemic, we were able to work ahead of the designed schedule of works. It would have not been possible without excellent cooperation of the experienced staff of the Investor, PRAGA housing cooperative, with the experienced staff of Unibep SA, and a great deal of involvement of the BBC design studio,” said Maciej Neska, contract manager at Unibep SA.
The topping out ceremony on Przystanek Targówek investment was also attended by representatives of Targówek District Office of the capital city of Warsaw: Mayor Małgorzata Kwiatkowska and Deputy Mayor Jędrzej Kunowski.
“I am glad that Targówek district has gained another investment. The district grows and changes into a more modern district while still remaining friendly to its residents. I have a huge fondness for this place,” said Mayor of Targówek district in Warsaw Małgorzata Kwiatkowska. “I keep my fingers crossed for this and subsequent investments to be done in the future on the initiative of PRAGA housing cooperative,” she added.
A modern and unique building
Przystanek Targówek residential estate is a multi-family building with 107 apartments, 6 commercial units with an area of 1 369 m2, and a garage hall with 148 parking spaces. The shape of the building is simple and modern, which adds a fresh expression to the area.
“The investment is an L-shaped residential development, with the located on the ground floor single-storey commercial premises within the plot. The residential part has been divided into three different heights: four storeys in the southern part, two storeys in the central part, and nine storeys in the northern part. Each of the apartments has a loggia, some of the apartments on the second and third floors come with a terrace and garden,” said Radosław Brzozowski, construction site manager at Unibep SA.
The investment will consist of apartments of the most demanded floorspace on the market: from 28.86 m2 to as much as 86.62 m2. They future residents can choose from one-, two-, three- or four-room apartments. Most of them have been designed in such a way as to make it possible to create an additional room, at the expense of converting the kitchen into a kitchenette. Owing to such modern solutions, everyone will find their place here: young and active people, families with children, and the elderly. Moreover, the building is perfectly located between two Warsaw underground stations: Targówek Mieszkaniowy Station and Trocka Station. Last, not least, the top floors provide is a great view of the capital city skyline.
