The delivery of the new border fence on the border with Belarus

We have started the process of delivering individual sections of the border fence on the border with Belarus. It is worth remembering that we have worked on the fence section being almost 81 km long, from the Swisłocz river to the Lithuanian border. The agreement is worth approx. PLN 200mln net.
Briefing with the Prime Minister
On June 30, a briefing concerning inauguration of the investment was held at the headquarters of the Border Guard in Kuźnica.
The briefing was held by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and attended by, Minister of Interior and Administration Mariusz Kamiński, Vice-minister Maciej Wąsik, and Commander-in-Chief of Border Guard General Tomasz Praga. Unibep Group was represented by Director of Infrastructure Department of Unibep SA Adam Poliński.
This is the largest investment in the history of the Border Guard and, at the same time, the most important investment of Infrastructure Department and Budrex in 2022.
Press conference in Kuźnica
As the process of the border fence delivery has started, a press conference was held in Kuźnica by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, Minister of Interior and Administration Mariusz Kamiński, Deputy Minister of Interior and Administration Maciej Wąsik, and Commander-in-Chief of the Border Guard Divisional General in Tomasz Praga.
“These companies have stood up to the challenge. These companies are good partners and can be recommended for the most difficult tasks. This task was extremely difficult, and these companies did an excellent job,” Maciej Wąsik thanked the contractors.
“Subsequent sections of the border fence are delivered on a continuous basis, meaning several sections daily. deliveries and installation of border spans last till late evening hours,” highlighted Anna Michalska, spokeswoman for the Border Guard.
