Otrzymaliśmy tytuł „Pracodawca Jutra”

On 9 June in Warsaw, the sixth edition of “Employer of Tomorrow” contest of the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development. Unibep SA was recognised as the best company in the construction industry.

The employers applied in three categories: Employee Development, Mature Competences, and Education Ambassador. To this year’s competition 89 initiatives were submitted covering development of human capital in companies. Employers applying for the award in the competition had to demonstrate that their activities were comprehensive, prepared in a thoughtful manner, and participation in them actually contributed to increasing the knowledge or skills of employees.

People first of all!

“Developing employees’ competences is extremely important in the era of dynamic market development and that applies to virtually every industry. According to research, for most Polish companies difficulties in finding employees with appropriate competences pose a barrier to their activities. In opinion of every third of these enterprises these competences are of great or very great importance for functioning of the company, and 29% perceive them of medium importance. Such Initiatives like the “Employer of Tomorrow" make it possible to appreciate the companies which pay particular attention to the development of the competences of their staff and present a good example to business,” said Dariusz Budrowski, president of the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development.

Having analysed the submitted applications, PARP in cooperation with labour market experts, representatives of the Programme Council for Competences and Sectoral Councils for Competences selected the winners of the Employer of Tomorrow competition. Unibep SA was awarded in Construction segment.

Unibep Group Academy of Knowledge

“The category for which we submitted our application is Employee Development, and the initiative we submitted was Unibep Group Academy of Knowledge” said Aneta Andruszkiewicz, HR director of Unibep SA. “The Academy of Knowledge stands for trainings, workshops, and training meetings conducted in a stationary form in training groups and also online, owing to the MS Teams platform. They include i.a. trainings in the field of soft, IT, legal, environmental protection related, human resources, and technical competences, which dedicated for employees of Unibep Group and, for the most part, conducted by our employees. We are very pleased that this project has been noticed.”

The project had to be addressed to the following groups of recipients: pupils, students, graduates of higher / secondary / vocational schools, employees or unemployed people and jobseekers, teachers, academic lecturers, trainers, advisers, and other groups representing either formal or informal education sector as well as retirees and pensioners (as long as the initiatives were aimed at restoring them to professional activity).
