The expansion of the approximately 18.2 km section will begin near the intersection with Ustronie Street in Gołdap and end in the village of Dubeninki. After modernization, the road will be a single carriageway with one lane in each direction, with lane widths ranging from 3 to 3.5 meters. In built-up areas, sidewalks and pedestrian-cyclist paths will be constructed. The scope of work also includes, among others, the reconstruction of a railway viaduct, the construction of bridges, drainage systems, and lighting infrastructure.
The project is scheduled to take 18 months from the date of contract signing, with a gross value of PLN 148.2 million.
Project Two: Dubeninki – Voivodeship Border
The second section, measuring 19.3 km, connects the village of Dubeninki to the border of the Podlaskie Voivodeship, near the tripoint of Poland, Lithuania, and Russia. The project includes the construction of modern infrastructure, including a bypass around the town of Żytkiejmy, bridges, and pedestrian-cyclist paths. Lane widths will be 3 meters, and the road will meet the standards of technical class G.
This project will also take 18 months to complete from the signing date, with a gross value of PLN 157 million.
