On 9 May 2023 in Śniadowo (Podlaskie voivodship), we signed the agreement for implementation of the task called “Extension and reconstruction of the Provincial Road No. 677 on the Konarzyce – Śniadowo section”. The 4.5 kilometres long section of the Provincial Road No. 677 will be implemented by the Consortium of Unibep (Consortium Leader) and Przedsiębiorstwo Budownictwa Komunikacyjnego Sp. z o.o. (briefly, Transportation Consortium Enterprise). The value of the agreement is approx. PLN 44.5 million net, with approx. PLN 22.2 million net being the remuneration of Unibep SA.
We will design and build the Provincial Road No. 677 for Provincial Roads Authority in Białystok. The aim of the investment will be the adaptation of the existing road infrastructure to the technical and operational standards required by law for class G roads. The task also includes an adaptation of the road lane to consider the needs of all traffic participants. The investment aims to collect and distribute the traffic flow from the “Łomża Południe” junction along the S61 expressway (connection to Provincial Road No. 677 through the road connector to National Road No. 63) in the direction of Łomża and Śniadowo.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the company by Paweł Duchnowski, the Director of Infrastructure Branch Offering Department of Unibep SA. The event was attended by Deputy Marshal of Podlaskie voivodship Marek Olbryś, Head of Śniadowo commune Rafał Pstrągowski, Staroste of the city of Łomża Lech Marek Szabłowski, Secretary of Śniadowo commune Wiesław Jemielity, member of Podlaskie voivodship council Piotr Modzelewski, and Mariusz Nahajewski, the Director of PZDW (Podlaski Zarząd Dróg Wojewódzkich, i.e., the Province Roads Authority of Podlaskie Voivodship).
The signed agreement aligns with the strategy adopted by the Infrastructure Branch for business development in Eastern Poland, especially targeting Podlaskie and Warmińsko-Mazurskie voivodships and eastern poviats of Mazowieckie voivodship. As a result of conclusion of the agreement, the estimated value of the backlog of orders of Unibep SA for implementation in the Infrastructure Branch for the period of Q2-Q4 of 2023 and subsequent years amounts to approx. PLN 990 million.
