Agreement with Panattoni
A preliminary agreement for construction of a production and warehouse hall for Panattoni Development Europe Sp. z o.o. with an area of approx. 58 thousand sq. m. near the city of Łódź. The promised agreement shall be concluded till 31 May 2022.
“It is a very important investment for further development of industrial construction segment of Unibep. At the same time, it is our first collaboration with the biggest logistics developer in Europe,” commented Przemysław Janiszewski, Director of Power and Industry Construction in Unibep SA (in the photo).
The preliminary agreement concerning construction of a production and warehouse hall with office and social facilities with accompanying technical and communication infrastructure. The investment is to be built approx. 30 km from the centre of the city of Łódź in Kruszów, in gmina Tuszyn. The net value of the investment is EUR 28.9 million. The commencement of construction works is scheduled for second quarter of 2022 and completion for the fourth quarter of the same year. According to the report, the two stage implementation is possible.
The number of clients is growing
“Year by year, the share of industrial construction in sales of Unibep is growing. We are glad that a leader in the real estate, the company Panattoni, joined the group of our clients. We hope that the hall near the city of Łódź will mark the beginning of a long-term cooperation established between the two companies,” said Przemysław Janiszewski, Director of Power and Industry Construction in Unibep SA, and he added: “In recent years we have completed several significant industrial investments on the Polish market. We strengthen our position in this segment with each year. This is evidenced by, for example, the references of our clients and the acquisition of new orders”.
In the last few years, Unibep SA signed a number of contracts in the industrial construction segment, incl. the industrial complex Polimery Police, sewage treatment plant in Bielsk Podlaski, milk powder plant Mlekovita 3, two warehouses and a cold store with the required infrastructure for Mlekovita Dairy Cooperative in Wysokie Mazowieckie.
Of the above mentioned investments, one which deserves honourable mention is Polimery Police consisting in construction of a polypropylene plant being built in the premises of Zakłady Chemiczne Police by Grupa Azoty capital group. It is worth mentioning that this is one of the largest investments underway in the industrial segment in Poland. Unibep SA is also executing the contract for construction of a new complex Olefin III in the premises of PKN ORLEN SA plant in Płock. At the end of March this year Unibep SA signed an agreement with Mondi Warszawa, a packaging manufacturer, for whom Unibep will reconstruct and extend the production and warehouse hall in the city of Mszczonów.
