Unibep SA received a distinction in the Construction Company of the Year category during the prestigious “Infrastructure and Construction Diamonds” gala. The awards and distinctions awarded in this competition show the value the infrastructure and construction investments bring to the development of the Polish economy.
The contest results were announced late in the evening of 9 March. This has been the 13th Conference of Polish Infrastructure and Construction. Industry representatives were honoured in 10 categories. The prestigious diamonds were received by 15 companies altogether, with 3 companies honoured with distinctions.
The Competition Jury justified its decision to award the distinction to Unibep SA in the Construction Company of the Year category, as follows: “We have decided to award the distinction in the Construction Company of the Year to a company that is probably one of the oldest construction enterprises on the Polish market. The company has been developing particularly dynamically in recent years. It operates not only in the residential, office, and industrial construction, but also in construction of roads and bridges. At the same time, it develops a modern product, which is construction of modular houses. What is also important is that the company bravely supports Poland in maintenance of Polish border protective zone”.

Leszek Gołąbiecki, President of Unibep SA, received the award and thanked the Competition Jury, nominees, winners, and above all, employees of Unibep Group, saying “The company is the people. Therefore, this award is dedicated to all employees of Unibep Group. We have been on the eastern market for many years: first, in Russia and Belarus, recently in Ukraine. Today we are still in Ukraine. We help our employees and their families who have decided to stay and defend their home country. This award is also for them. Thank you!”.

A few words about the “Infrastructure and Construction Diamonds” competition
The competition is organised by Executive Club, a business organisation bringing together members of top management, representing most important Polish and international companies. The aim of this competition is to promote people and companies in the infrastructure and construction sector that stand out against others with their high quality performance or economic efficiency. Participation in the competition poses an opportunity to present company’s activities and its achievements as well as to benchmark the company brand among those of the most important representatives of the industry.
