Agreement of construction companies

On 29th of November 2016, 17 companies from Polasie including Unibep SA and Budrex-Kobi Sp. z o.o., the company which belongs to Unibep Group, signed an agreement concerning the safety of construction in our region. The primary aim is to increase the level of safety at construction sites in our region.

- The construction sector is one of the most dangerous. This is shown by statistics – states Piotr Szczęsny, Deputy District Inspector of Labour in Białystok. – Unfortunately, a lot of accidents are serious and even fatal. We have to do a lot so as to limit the number of such incidents.

This is why the District Inspector of Labour in Białystok has invited over a dozen of companies from Białystok to work together in order to improve the level of safety. 17 companies from the construction sector responded to this invitation.

The participants of the meeting signed a declaration about cooperation for ensuring appropriate standards of safety of work at construction sites located in the Podlaskie region. Signatories of the agreement intend to promote a culture of safety and want to implement a unified system approach to issues of safety of work. They agreed that representatives of the companies shall meet at least once per quarter in order to exchange experience and learn together.
