Good news from the infrastructure segment
Road workers close the week with a tally of four successful tenders with a total value of PLN 170 million. In the past few days, we signed agreements for two out of four acquired tenders.
Today, on 23 June 2023, we received a notification from the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways in Olsztyn confirming that our offer was chosen as the most favourable one in an open tender public procedure for the extension of the National road No. 65 on section Nowa Wieś Ełcka – the border of the voivodship. The value of our offer amounts to approx. PLN 128.4 million gross, which equates into approx. PLN 104.4 million net. The project, which we will be implementing, involves the construction of a new road surface with an allowable pressure of 11.5 tons per axle and a width of 8 metres over a section spanning 12.4 kilometres. We will also reconstruct 16 intersections and lay sidewalks with a total length of approx. 11 km, encompassing 10 bus bays. The creation of a pedestrian and cycling path over 2.5 km long will be an important part of the investment. Additionally, we will conduct works on the reconstruction of nine culverts and a bridge structure, and install lighting, which will increase the road safety.
Our second success is winning the tender for the improvement of the investment attractiveness of Suwałki. The city has decided to entrust us with the implementation of two tasks that are of key importance for the development of the road infrastructure in Suwałki. The first task includes, among others, the construction of the road marked as 4KD, which will 1350 metres long, along with the installation of sanitary, electrical, and telecommunications infrastructure, as well as a pedestrian and cycling path. The value of this project amounts to PLN 19 million, and the completion date is 360 days from the date of signing the agreement, no later than 30 June 2024.
The second task involves the expansion and reconstruction of the municipal road Wojska Polskiego II Street, along with the underground infrastructure. The value of this task amounts to PLN 23 million. It includes the design and construction of a street which is 1693 metres long, as well as the construction of a 460-metre-long section of an unnamed municipal road. The implementation deadline has been divided into two stages: 240 days for the project documentation development and 510 days for the performance of works, no later than 30 October 2024. The Director of the Infrastructure Branch, Sławomir Moczydłowski, signed the agreement covering both tasks on 22 June.
We have also signed an agreement for ongoing maintenance works on national roads in the area of Giżycko. The agreement with GDDKiA Olsztyn was signed online (a signum temporis!) on Wednesday, 21 June, by Paweł Duchnowski, Director of the Bidding Department at the Infrastructure Branch. Our company will be responsible for overlays and partial renovations on road sections DK No. 16, DK No. 59, DK No. 59 b, and DK No. 63. The gross value of this agreement amounts to PLN 15,218,889.38, and the completion period is 24 months from the conclusion date of the agreement.
Our offer proved to be the most favourable in the tender for the renovation of Provincial Road No. 645. The investor is the Mazowieckie Voivodship Roads Authority in Warsaw. The tender procedure was conducted in basic mode, without the possibility of negotiations for task No. 3, the renovation of Provincial Road No. 645 from km 0+005 to km 3+500 in Myszyniec. The deadline for the task performance is 180 days from the date of signing the agreement, and its gross value is PLN 9 million.
By signing these agreements, we open new possibilities for our company. The extension of National Road No. 65 on Nowa Wieś Ełcka — voivodship border section, as well as works on the road infrastructure in Giżycko area, both align with our strategy of increasing our presence in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodship.
