Unibep SA from Bielsk Podlaski is now one of the most important construction companies in the country and the largest Polish exporter of construction services. The company achieved this success through knowledge, passion and determination of its owners and excellent staff.
In 2015, Unibep SA from Bielsk Podlaski celebrated its 65th anniversary of establishment. The company used to be a state company, municipal company; it also belonged to a large European corporation. The key year in the company's history was 2002, when the present owner acquired the company shares from Budimex. Then, the company from Bielsk had several tens of millions of revenue and slightly more than one hundred employees. The new owners focused on the company development, and because there were not many construction investments in Podlasie, they decided to build on the largest Polish market, namely in the Capital City. Another important milestone in the company's history was its debut on the Warsaw Stock Exchange in 2008. The capital raised was allocated for the development of Unibep SA.
Today, Unibep SA is one of the largest construction companies in Poland and one of the few companies with mainly Polish capital. It operates in various segments of the construction industry. It is not only the general contractor in Poland and abroad (operates on the following markets: Russian, Belarusian, German), but it also has the largest factory of modular houses in Poland (sells to Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and will soon potentially be available to other European countries), operates in the road sector (mostly builds roads in the Podlaskie Voivodeship, and via its company Budrex it builds and renovates bridges throughout the country, and via its subsidiary it is operating as a developer in Warsaw and Poznań.
