The agreement was signed by Adam Poliński, Member of the Board and Infrastructure Branch Director at Unibep, Jarosław Wąsowski, Director of the GDDKiA Branch in Warsaw, and Bartłomiej Ratyński, Deputy Director for Investments at the GDDKiA Branch in Warsaw.
The borderland of Mazovia, Warmia, and Masuria is a region where the Infrastructure Branch of Unibep is constantly present. Currently, the General Contractor is expanding the poviat road in gminas of Lelis and Kadzidło and completing the regional road in Myszyniec. Relatively recently, it has also completed the roadworks between Szczytno and Olszyny.
“We have solid experience in infrastructure projects conducted in northeastern Poland. We have built strong relationships with local subcontractors, which translates into the efficiency of the work we carry out. Furthermore, our asphalt and mineral mix plants located in Łomża and Szczytno enable us to quickly reach northern Mazovia,” explained Adam Poliński, Director of the Infrastructure Branch at Unibep.

The planned investment is located in the Mazowieckie Voivodeship, Ostrołęka poviat, covering the city and gmina of Myszyniec as well as gmina of Kadzidło. The section of National Road No. 53 to be expanded is 19.630 km long and traverses the built-up areas, agricultural lands, and forested areas.

Road geometry in plan: The road expansion has been designed within the existing road corridor, starting at km 85+600 and ending at the boundary of the town of Kadzidło, km 105+230. The geometry project includes adjustments to horizontal curves and fitting the proposed geometry into the existing conditions.
The investment does not alter the existing traffic layout, maintaining the current configuration. Plots of land adjacent to National Road No. 53 have access either directly from the national road or indirectly via additional carriageways and the local road network.
