During the official opening, the cutting a symbolic ribbon took place in front of the newly opened plant
The plant of mineral-asphalt mixtures in Lipowa Góra has been the second plant launched by the Infrastructure Branch of Unibep SA in Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship. Unibep Group has four plants manufacturing masses used in construction, mainly in north-eastern Poland.
The new plant has been equipped with eight new aggregate dispensers (hoppers) while in other plants we only have 6 such dispensers. It is of great importance when changing recipes, allowing us to save valuable time and increase efficiency. A larger dryer and filter are installed, which translates into machine efficiency. There are new flour and dust tanks and three asphalt tanks. The asphalt pipelines have been prepared in such a way to allow for expansion of the asphalt storage facility. There is a new installation for cold dosing of reclaimed material. The installation for dosing special additives (cellulose granules) has been equipped with a control system identical to that used in our other plants. “Unification of the control system allows operators to move between plants without the need to learn how to work with different systems,” pointed out Paving Plant Manager Dariusz Kmieć who is involved in the launch of the new production plant.
