Third place among companies from the construction industry, 74th position on the list of 300 Best Polish Employers – this is the position of Unibep SA in the ranking of the Poland's Best Employers. The list published by Forbes was created, among others, based on opinions expressed by individual employees from different companies.
The ranking called Poland's Best Employers is a publication based on the same principles as those in western Europe or in the American Forbes. Furthermore, the substantive partner here, the company that conducted the survey eliciting Polish companies, was Statista, the co-creator of world-wide recognised rankings of the World's Best Employers – wrote the editors of Forbes, presenting the ranking.
Statista asked the employees themselves to reveal the best employer. They rated their employers in an anonymous survey, owing to which the actual quality of employment was examined, not only the success of employer branding campaigns. The companies were not able to influence the rating obtained in the ranking, because it was not possible, for example, to submit ones participation by ordering a paid audit service. This guaranteed complete independence of the survey results.
The basis for granting the award was, inter alia, direct recommendation, that is. the willingness of employees to recommend their employer. The respondents completed an online questionnaire, indicating the probability of recommending their employer to a friend or family member on a scale of 0 to 10, where 0 stood for the least likely and 10 for the most likely.
Moreover, the respondents rated their employers in seven main areas, which were image and growth, development and prospects, employee relations and management, remuneration, working conditions and equipment, sustainability, and workload.
The maximum number of points that a company could receive in the survey was one hundred. Unibep SA received 73.13 points.
Unibep SA was ranked third among construction companies coming ahead of such companies like Warbud, Skanska, Strabag, and Erbud. Budimex ranked second, and Ceramika Paradyż came as the ranking's leader. On the list of 300 Best Polish Employers, Unibep SA ranked 74th, ahead of many companies with famous brands. When it comes to companies from Podlasie, only Mlekpol Dairy Cooperative from Grajewo was ahead of Unibep. On the top of the list were Google, CD Projekt, and Microsoft.

It is worth adding that the survey questionnaire was completed by a total of over 10 000 employees who provided almost 160 000 recommendations! The survey took from September to October 2020 and it was based on the Statista prepared list of approx. 1 800 employers with at least 250 people counted on the payroll in Poland.
