Road workers will build in the Lublin voivodeship

We are glad that two Polish companies will implement an important road investment in the Lubelskie Voivodeship - said Leszek Gołąbiecki, president of the Management Board of Unibep SA, during the official signing of the agreement for expansion of the last section of the voivodeship road No. 835 from Biłgoraj to the voivodeship border.

The ceremony took place on Saturday, 19 December 2020 at the Lublin Conference Centre. Among the guests there was Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of State Assets Jacek Sasin.

The national road No. 835 is a communication route of great importance for the region – it connects Lublin with the A4 motorway. Thanks to the signed agreement, the last 25-kilometre section of the road will be modernised in the municipality of Biłgoraj, Książpol, and Tarnogród. This is one of the busiest roads in the Lublin voivodeship.

The investment will be carried out by the consortium companies of Unibep SA from Bielsk Podlaski (Consortium Leader) and Przedsiębiorstwo Drogowo–Mostowe SA in Dębica. The investor is the Voivodeship Road Authority in Lublin. The value of the remuneration for the construction of the road is approximately PLN 128.4 million net, of which the remuneration of Unibep SA is approx. PLN 38.5 million net.

– It is good that investments in infrastructure in eastern Poland have started – said Leszek Gołąbiecki. – The companies from this region, such as our enterprises, will benefit from it. I promise that we will organise work in such a way that there are as few difficulties as possible. We will focus on excellent work, schedule, and quality.

The investment is co-financed by the Regional Operational Programme of the Lubelskie Voivodeship for 2014-2020. The works will last until 2022.
