Unibep Group on the 500 List of Rzeczpospolita

The Unibep Capital Group came 202^nd in the "Rzeczpospospolita’s ranking of Poland’s 500 largest companies in terms of revenue" compiled by the business daily Rzeczpospospolita.

It has been already 22^nd edition of one of the most important economic rankings  in Poland. On 27 May 2020, Rzeczpospolita presented the list of 500 biggest companies in Poland presented by the their revenue for 2019.

- Polish economy, according to GUS estimates, grew by 4% in 2019 in comparison to 5.1% in 2018. Such data means that in the last quarter of the year growth slowed down to 3.1%. - wrote the authors of the ranking. - The structure of the List changed slightly. The most numerous business sector is the wholesale trade with 70 representing companies, 40 companies from the construction sector. The growth rate of both these sectors is lower than average, which drags all these companies down. The wholesale trade increased sales on average by only 5.4%, and construction - by 3.8%.

Let us remind, that the 2019 revenue of the Unibep Group was at the level of approx. PLN 1.66 billion, which ranked the Group on the 202^nd position in the ranking. The authors of the ranking also indicate that employment has been systematically growing for several years. At the end of 2019, the companies included in the List of 500 employed a total of over 1.4 million people - over 8% more than in the previous edition.
