Topping out in Soho residential estate in Warsaw

It was a modest and small event, though conducted in an exceptionally friendly atmosphere. The traditional topping was hung on 17 June 2020 on the building of Soho residential estate 8 in Warsaw's Praga district.

Even during the pandemic, Unibep SA did not forget about the topping out tradition. However, the event was shaped by the weather conditions - it was stormy and windy, so we had to move the official part to a nearby restaurant. It was attended by the representatives of the investor, architects, supervision, and employees of Unibep SA.

- The topping out is hung as a sign of completion of an important stage of construction. This should bring prosperity to both the building and the construction employees. That is also the moment to say "thank you" to everyone involved in the construction project - said Leszek Gołąbiecki, President of Unibep SA during a short speech. - I am convinced that we will meet again and more than once at a regular topping out event - with delicious food from Podlasie - he joked.

- There has been good cooperation at this investment, but it is owing to competent people on both sides looking for good solutions - said Jacek Zengteler, general director, board member of Yareal Polska, representative of investor. - I hope that we will continue our cooperation.

When the storm calmed down, and it was possible to walk to the front of the building, everyone went there to see, take a photo, or make a movie of the event. The topping was hung by Andrzej Grzymała, construction manager (main page picture).

Soho 18 is currently one of the most popular investments in Warsaw on the right side of the Vistula river. The 9-storey building is built on the C letter plan. There will be 132 apartments.

The investment completion is scheduled for the first quarter of 2021.
