Unibep constructing for Mlekovita

On 10 April 2020, Unibep SA concluded an agreement with Spółdzielnia Mleczarska Mlekovita in the city of Wysokie Mazowieckie concerning the construction of a freezer facility and two warehouse buildings with the necessary infrastructure. The value of the agreement is PLN 26.35 million net.

 

This is another investment of the biggest dairy cooperative in Poland, being implemented by Unibep SA. Previously, it has been the production and storage hall and the Mlekovita 3 Milk Powder Plant. 

The latter project especially, posed a challenge for Unibep SA, as it was construction of one of most modern plants in Europe in this segment of industrial construction, and Mlekovita 3 Milk Powder Factory was the biggest of all so far completed investments in the history of Mlekovita. The president of the company Dariusz Sapiński repeated many times that thanks to Mlekovita 3 Milk Powder Factory his dairy cooperative the biggest producer of milk powders not only in Poland, but also in Central and Eastern Europe.

The agreement signed on 10 April 2020 provides for the expansion of the dairy plant through the construction of a freezer facility and two warehouse buildings with the necessary infrastructure.

This is the second agreement in the industrial construction segment signed within two days. It is worth mentioning that on 9 April 2020 Unibep SA signed a contract with Hyundai Engineering Co., Ltd SA Branch in Poland for the implementation of the project called “Construction of the Polimery Police complex, consisting of PDH installation, PP installations, PP logistics infrastructure with auxiliary installations, inter-facility connections  and a handling and storage terminal” (Polimery Police Project). The value of the agreement is approx. EUR 11.64 million net, equivalent to approx. PLN 52.8 million net at the exchange rate of the National Bank of Poland as of the day of signing the agreement.
