The cornerstone for the construction of the NSM Missiles Manufacturing and Servicing Centre was laid on 25 July 2019 in Zielonka. The investment is carried out by Unibep SA.

– This is a very important project for the entire arms industry - emphasised Mirosław Błaszczak, Minister of National Defence in his speech. – This investment is a consequence of the offset agreements signed in March. I am glad that we are strengthening the defence of the country.

– The investment carried out in Zielonka is important not only for the army, but also for the whole society, because after the creation of the Centre there will be new jobs here – added Witold Słowik, president of Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa.

The ceremony was attended by representatives of the army, employees of Wojskowe Zakłady Elektroniczne, local government and Unibep SA - the general contractor of the investment.

This is the first investment implemented for the army by Unibep SA. According to the agreement, Unibep is to build a technical and office building and three warehouse buildings with accompanying infrastructure.

The value of the contract is PLN 28.5 million net. The completion is planned for the first quarter of 2020.

It is worth adding that Unibep SA has relevant industrial security certificates, owing to which it can implement investments for the army.
