Never take shortcuts - this is the message of the Safety Week

On several hundreds of construction sites carried out in Poland by the signatories of the Agreement for Construction Safety - including the investments carried out by Unibep S.A. - from the 13th to the 19th of May the 4th Safety Week is taking place. This is the biggest initiative in Poland aiming to improve safety on construction sites in our country. The initiative has been taken under the patronage of the Chief Labour Inspector.

The Agreement for Construction Safety, established by the biggest general construction contractors operating in Poland, is organising  the "Safety Week" for the sixth consecutive year. With each year, the scale of the project is vast - only last year the campaign covered nearly 40,000 employees in several hundreds of different locations.

This year's Safety Week will include, among others: first aid trainings at construction sites, workshops and presentations on occupational health and safety practices at construction sites, presentations of safety providing equipment, lectures by inspectors of National Labour Inspectorate. - We have also prepared new guides for construction site managers raising the level of safety on construction sites. The Book of Ideas on OSH 2019 presents suggestions on over 30 activities with construction workers - adds Gołąbiecki.
