A good, though a difficult year – the meeting with analysts and journalists

Over 20 analysts and over ten journalists took part in special meetings concerning the summary of the financial results of the Unibep Capital Group for 2018.

The meeting was led by Jan Mikołuszko, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Unibep S.A., and Sławomir Kiszycki, the Vice President of the Management Board and the Financial Director of Unibep S.A.

It was a difficult year, also for our Group - said Sławomir Kiszycki. - What we are pleased with is that despite the unstable situation we have managed to secure both revenue and profits, which are slightly higher than in 2017. Our main assets are people, which is why we are very pleased that the end-of-the-year payroll remained virtually the same compared with the end of 2017.

Jan Mikołuszko, in turn, spoke about the development strategy of individual segments of the Unibep Group. - First of all, I want to emphasize that we do not intend to sell any of our businesses. We also do not want to be a much larger company; we are thinking about improving efficiency - he said. - However, we have concluded that Unihouse is already at such a stage of development that it should be an independent company. Works on empowerment of the branch are underway. It will be a long and complicated process, but I hope that they will be completed in 2019.

It was mainly the Unihouse aspects that interested the analysts and journalists, including the use of production capacity of the plant after its expansion. - It has been a good decision to invest in the factory. We are ready to increase the efficiency, including an increase in number of manufactured modules. How many of them there will be? It depends mainly on whether or not these will be repeatable elements - said Jan Mikołuszko.

Sławomir Kiszycki, in turn, drew attention to the ability of Unibep and Unidevelopment to cooperate with both CPD SA in Warsaw and with Wiepofama within the framework of a project (the big development project in Poznań). - Therefore, we have ambitious projects underway, in which we will be able to offer our clients over 3,500 apartments.
