Wood in Architecture - the competition has been settled

Ewa Piszczek (in the photo) from the Silesian University of Technology won the first place in the "Wood in Architecture" competition. On November 15, 2018, the results of the first edition of this competition were summed up.

The competition is the result of the cooperation of the Faculty of Architecture of Bialystok University of Technology with Unibep SA and Danwood S.A. Podlasie has always been associated with wooden architecture, and both mentioned above companies, with offices in Bielsk Podlaski, are one of the biggest producers of wooden residential buildings in Europe.

Yesterday at the Faculty of Architecture of Bialystok University the results of the first edition of this competition were summed up. Earlier, Andrzej Lechowski, the director of the Podlasie Museum, spoke about the historic wooden town of Bialystok, while prof. Jarosław Szewczyk spoke about the wooden revolution, including bold, visionary projects.
