A cornerstone was laid at the Galeria Karuzela shopping centre in Biała Podlaska

On September 20, 2018 a new chapter in the history of Biała Podlaska was opened. The previously forgotten area of the former Bialska Furniture Factory will start teeming with new life in a little over a year. On Thursday, in presence of local authorities, the cornerstone for the Galeria Karuzela Biała Podlaska investment implementation was laid.

Apart from the shopping centre, the Agata Meble building with an area of 7,000 sq. m will also be built at the intersection of Łomaska and Kolejowa Streets. In these places high-traffic roundabouts will appear. These solutions are important from the point of view of residents who, thanks to the construction of the shopping centre, will gain a modern road system that reduces traffic jams in the area. In August last year, a link between the Witoroska street (provincial road 812) and the future shopping centre was completed and put into operation.

Apart from the city representatives, the contractor and the architect, in the ceremony took part the members of the municipal council and the representatives of religious groups. The investment cost is PLN 170 million. The completion of works is planned for the fourth quarter of 2019.
