The next section of S8 expressway is open
On 17 September, the official opening of the S8 road took place on the section from the Poręba junction (without the junction) to the bypass road of Ostrów Mazowiecka. The general contractor is the consortium comprising of PORR SA and Unibep SA.
- Today we are opening the part of the national S8 road, which a few years ago was one of the most dangerous. This is an important investment not only for the local community but also for the transit traffic - said the Minister of Environment, Henryk Kowalczyk.
During the ceremony, the ribbon was officially cut, and then the car traffic in both directions was opened.
The newly built section constitutes 16.1 km of the expressway with access roads, evaporation tanks, two road junctions (Dybki and Nagoszewo) and nearly 20 passages for animals, including two green bridges.
