The topped-out Ogrodowa Office in Łódź

Construction works on the Ogrodowa Office in Łódź have been completed. The building has thereby reached its maximum height of 6 floors. On that occasion the topping-out ceremony was held on 21 November 2017 in the territory of the investment, which was organised by the general contractor Unibep SA from Bielsk Podlaski. The office building’s investor is Warimpex.

– A topping-out ceremony is always a very important moment for all construction workers  – Leszek Gołąbiecki, President of the Management Board of Unibep SA, says. - It’s also the summary of efforts made by many people: workers, cooperating companies, architects, investors and self-government authorities. I’m very satisfied with the works performed on the construction site.

Among the invited guests there was the President of the City of Łódź Hanna Zdanowska. - I’m very grateful to the investor but also the general contractor. After all, when you perform construction work in the very centre of Łódź, practically you don’t interfere in the life of local residents, you don’t cause any transport disturbances. How do you do that? - the President joked.  

Lively neighbourhood

The Ogrodowa Office will offer 28,600 square metres of the lease area, including 3,900 square metres of retail and service area on the ground floor of the building. Reinforced concrete construction of the office building covers 7 ground storeys and 2 underground storeys where there will be a car park for 326 vehicles as well as stations for charging electric cars.

The Ogrodowa Office will be an A-class office building which meets high ecological standards. In the building there are dressing rooms and showers for people going to work by bike, whereas at the highest floors there will be green terraces with a panoramic view of the city at the disposal of the tenants.  Warimpex and Unbep will apply for the BREEAM ecological certificate at the Very Good level for the building.
